Big Things are here...

Finished-Logo

I have found that whenever I announce a hint of some news that I will reveal in the future, inevitably many of my reader's first thought is that Cory and I are having a baby. Sorry to disappoint, yet again.

The "Big Thing" that I would like to announce today is that earlier this week I finally launched my photography website! I have been chipping away at formulating and uploading content for the past couple of months and I have to say I am pretty excited about it being completed. The snazzy website design was provided by www.bludomain.com and the photographs were provided by yours truly. The images of me and Cory were taken by my good buddy Joshua Cook http://www.joshuacookphotography.com/
I will be continuing to update content and the site and hope you all enjoy! Check it out and leave me a comment on what you think!

Heidi- Senior 2009!

This past Sunday afternoon, Cory and I got to hang with Heidi and her mom Julie for some senior portraits. Let me just say, this session was off the chain. We had great light, great locations, and most importantly- Heidi ROCKED the session. Heidi was a natural in front of the camera and the whole time was a blast! I am pretty sure that Heidi ate her Senior Portrait Wheaties that morning. We shot out in Redlands (Heidi goes to Redlands East Valley) and I have to say I am loving me some Redlands photo shoots, not gunna lie. Heidi is my friend on Facebook as well so you can be sure that I'll be posting tagging her in these pictures soon!

What can I say- relaxed.

Heidi plays guitar and wanted it incorporated in the photographs (musical instruments= oh yeah for photos). We were treated to an impromptu concert right there in the old train station, unplugged.

We had to wait in line to shoot at these stairs at the U of R, but I think that they were worth the wait!

Watch the Flowers Grow

What a weekend it has been! So exciting! Early sunday morning I got a call from my good friend Ken Flower telling me that Beth was in labor. The long awaited Flower firstborn was on her way! I told Cory and neither of us could get back to sleep after that.

During the second service at our church on Sunday, I got a text from Ken stating that June Bailey Flower had arrived! Cory and I were so excited to go to the hospital and meet her and to see Ken and Beth! She is such a beautiful daughter for Ken and Beth, even at just three hours old!

It was such and surreal experience to see my good friends from college, whom I knew before they were dating each other, now enjoying the birth of their first child. You could tell that they were exuberant with excitement and Cory and I are so excited for them!

Oh, and I brought my camera along, there were some other photographers there as well. Newborn photos. Check.

Without any further adieu- June Flower.

Ken's brother Tyler was there as well with his daughter who had only been born a few weeks earlier. Her name is Jane and it was cool to get to meet her and see Tyler and Stephanie again!

This next photograph I couldn't decide if I liked it better in black and white or color. Please let me know what you think in the comments below!
