The New Hotness

Yesterday in the mail I received the Canon L Series 24-70 2.8 lens and I am pretty excited about it! The L Series is the Canon's top of the line lens. The difference between it and other lenses is equivalent to the difference between a Takamine guitar and a Taylor guitar, between Del Taco and Stonefire, between going to a park and swinging on the swings and going to Disneyland and riding space mountain. I am really excited to have this lens in my arsenal as my photo business continues to move forward. The sharpness, color and contrast are VASTLY superior to my old lenses and I hope that it will help me make pictures that much better!

Faves from the Santamaria Fam

I know that I have blogged quite a bit recently from the Santamaria family photo shoot but hey, what can I say- I really enjoy their family and their photos!

I purposefully held back my favorites of their photos from the sneak peaks so that they would be able to enjoy the best when I gave the final version of all of their photos.

Hope you guys enjoy! I just got a new lens that I will post about soon that I am really stoked about and should take me to an even higher level!

The Sneak Peak

Today was a sweet day. We got to take family photos for our good friends the Santamarias. They are a really fun group to hang out with and their kids were such posers. It was really fun. This is just a sneak peak for the family to hopefully get them as excited as we are about their family photos!
